Portraits

A couple of portraits drawn this week. The one on the right was done for Life Drawing homework and I drew it from myself in a mirror. The tone is done in black and white conte.

The one on the left was a test to see what kind of image I could create in 20-30 minutes to see whether I could offer portraits like this at AVCon. I finished most of it in 25 minutes but then couldn't resist pushing around the charcoal... smoothing it, and so forth. Probably did a disservice to the image that way because I was trying to 'perfect' things after my model was no longer around for reference.
